I.M.A and Officers Training Academy: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

How to Apply:

Candidates can submit applications for the SSC CHSL exam through online mode only. Procedure to fill the application form through online mode given below:

Firstly, click on the “Apply Online Here” link provided below.
Now, application form window will open.

SSC CHSL application form has two parts i.e. “Registration Part” and “Apply Part”.

Firstly, candidates have to fill required details in “Registration Part”.
And in “Apply Part”, candidates need to pay application fee and, upload scanned photograph and signature.

SSC CHSL 2016 Application Fee :

Candidates are required to make payment of Rs. 100 as application fee. The fee will not be applicable for female, SC, ST & PH candidates. Candidates can either pay application fee thru online mode or thru SBI Challan:
Application Fee thru SBI Challan: Candidates have to pay fee of Rs. 100, candidates can pay application fee thru challan at any SBI branch. (SC/ ST/ Female & PH candidates no need to pay any fee).
Online Application Fee: Candidates have to pay fee of Rs. 100, candidates can pay application fee thru net banking and any credit/debit cards. (SC/ ST/ Female & PH candidates no need to pay any fee).



Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC) is an autonomous body under the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India mandated to examine and evaluate existing state of art technology and directions of future technology developments. Since its inception in 1988, TIFAC has played an important role in the country's technology space through technology foresight and assessment exercises, technology information services and demonstrating models of technology development through academia-industry interaction. In the process, TIFAC has also shaped itself into a vibrant knowledge network in action. TIFAC had carried out the Technology Vision 2020 exercise during 1993-96, and as an outcome of this, several mission mode programmes were launched in the areas of agriculture and Agro Food Processing, Road Transportation, Textile Machineries, Healthcare and creation of Centres of Excellences in academic institutions. Further, TIFAC is now engaged in Technology Vision 2035. Apart from these, TIFAC has specific programmes related to the technology needs of Micro Small and Medium industries, technology foresight studies in the automotive sector, solar PV technology, bioprocess and bio products etc.

TIFAC invites application from eligible students for internship. Each intern will be given a specific assignment from the areas identified as priority by TIFAC.


Candidates pursuing B.Tech/ M.Sc/ M.Tech/MBA/MCA courses are eligible to apply for the internship. B.Tech students must have been successfully completed four semesters or appeared for fourth semester examinations. For specific relevant disciplines please refer to the section “Available Vacancy” below.


Duration of internship will be up to a maximum of 12 months for M.Tech students and 6 months for others.

Token Remuneration

B.Tech/ M.Sc: Token remuneration @Rs.10,000/- per month per intern

M.Tech/ MBA: Token remuneration @Rs.12,000/- per month per intern

Submission of Report

The interns will be required to present to the concerned Head of the Division a report on the assignment at the end of the internship. Simultaneously they will also be required to give to the Executive Director, TIFAC mandatory feedback on their experience during the internship.

1. Directly go in for an MBA

If you want to, you can go in for a MBA directly after the completion of the graduation. For this you will need to first appear for all the entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, SNAP etc so that you can get admission in a reputed college. It was one of the option if you have doubts related to question after B.Tech what can I do.

2. Specialize in your field of study

In case you are not interested in doing an MBA, you can go in for an M.Tech, and specialize in the field of study that you chose for your graduation. For this also, you will need to start preparing for the exams well in advance.

3. Appear for the Civil services exams

This is a great option for those who have thought like after BTech what can I do and want to be a part of the administration and after the completion of your graduation you can give your complete attention to the preparation of the UPSC examinations that are very tough and need a lot of focus.


Conducted by one of seven Indian Institutes of Technology in rotation, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an annual exam for admission to M.Tech and M.S. programmes in most engineering institutes in India[citation needed]. It is regarded as a benchmark test for engineering graduates in India [citation needed]. This examination is coordinated by a committee, comprising of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, and Government of India. The pattern and syllabus are usually based on a candidate's B.Tech. Or BE syllabus. Minimum eligibility for appearing in this exam is usually a B.Tech, BE, B. Arch. or Masc. The exam is usually conducted on second Sunday of February.

5. Software industry

What ever the branch you are in during your engineering you can get into a software industry with simply communication skills. It is good if you get a job during the campus placements itself because it is really difficult to find a job after you come out of the college. However there are various kinds of jobs in Software industry which you get accordingly as your course of study or your specialization. It is ok if you do job for sometime and start studying again for your P.G courses.

6. Own Company

If you are financially sound, you can start your own company with a little experience in some other company.

Still there are various choices in jobs like lecturer in some famous engineering college, call center jobs, etc.
